Biography

Alexandria Spry is the Head of School at Jacksonville Classical Academy East. She is originally from Manning, South Carolina. Mrs. Spry grew up in a Christian home with a loving family who instilled the importance of good character and education into her at an early age. 

Upon graduating from high school, she moved to Winston Salem, North Carolina, to further her education. Mrs. Spry graduated from Winston Salem State University with a degree in Elementary Education. After graduating from WSSU, she taught upper elementary. She held various leadership roles throughout her teaching career that supported teachers and scholars, which motivated her to return to school to earn her master's degree. Mrs. Spry received a master's degree in Executive Leadership Studies with Administrative Licensure from Gardner-Webb University. After receiving her degree, she was promoted to a leadership position in which she became an Instructional Facilitator. 

After working as an Instructional Facilitator, she decided to move to sunny Jacksonville, FL, to further her career. Within a year, Mrs. Spry married a middle school curriculum coach and adopted two fur babies, Winston and Salem. Mrs. Spry served as an Assistant School Leader for several years at a local public charter school. Then became the founding Dean of Students at Jacksonville Classical Academy. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in higher education and leadership. Mrs. Spry is passionate about education and ready to equip scholars with the tools they need to face the world, expand their knowledge, and develop their souls.

In addition, Mrs. Spry enjoys trying new things and visiting family and friends in the Carolinas.
